Last Sunday on the 18th of June Oscar’s memory was honoured at the Sant Just football club. If I start describing what we felt during the day, I think I can summarize it with the following video:

The sensitivity shown by this group of people pierced the skin of those of us who were there, filled the eyes of many with tears, made the hearts of others shrink and summed up the feelings of so many adults and children who were gathered there.
May the beat of that drum be the beat of all the hearts that were there, may it give us
energy and strength to move forward.

The Homage was respectful, sensitive, very well organised and with everyone’s collaboration it was an unforgettable act for us. It showed, if there was any doubt, the
feeling and the pain from the loss of Oscar and the love we feel for him. To feel accompanied by so many friends was overwhelming. From 9 o’clock in the morning Oscar allowed us to enjoy the day with some clouds that hid the power of the sun so that his boys were able to play football and not get too hot. There were even some raindrops, that rain that he liked so much while he played, which accompanied us and refreshed us and kept him very present.

The best therapy I can have is to be by your sides, to keep going, with cloudy days, sunny days and many stormy days. Even the rain reminds me of him.

We feel that we are made of little pieces of you Oscar, for your dedication, kindness, affection and enjoyment of life.

«Sempre amb nosaltres – Always with us» is now by your side, in a wooden heart that
reminds you that you are not alone on the other side either, that we continue to remember you, to love you and to feel your presence.

Maybe it’s because I can’t get used to your absence, but I feel you by my side, walking down the corridor and looking at me… – «Hi mother» 😉 Your absence, touching you, hugging you and feeling small by your side… I miss you so much…

And every morning I look at your photo that looks back at me with a serene, smiling look. That same look is reflected in the huge banner made to remember you and to know that you will always be with us and we with you, to remember the values and everything you transmitted to your dragons; as one of them said «The most beautiful face in the world»!
